The Thrill of Big Block Modified Racing Returns for OCFS's 100th Anniversary Season

By Jordan Sheehan
Tomorrow at 3pm the first race car will enter OCFS for the kick off of the 2019 points season at The Legendary House Of Power. The track's headlining division for the night will be the Big Block Modifieds. The 800+ horsepower V8 Big Blocks will run a special 71 lap feature event in honor of Carl “Fuzzy” VanHorn. This race will pay a special $7,100 to the winner and start the highest paying season ever for Big Block racing at OCFS. The weekly pay out for Big Block Modifieds in 2019 is set at $3,300 to win and $2,000 for second place with a starting field of 26 cars after opening night, plus weekly a $250 Hard Charger Award. With this payout the talent looking to compete at OCFS in 2019 continues to grow. Here are 40 Big Block Reasons for you to be at OCFS on April 13th, opening night and every Saturday night this summer.
